| Statement of Faith |
|
We believe that only the sixty six books of the Bible are God-inspired and pure Word of God. The last word is always after the Bible. Bible is a standard for our faith and our life. (Mt. 5:18; John 10:35; 17:17; 2Tim. 3:16-17; 2Pet. 1:20-21). We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully a human; that He was conceived by Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and gave Himself as a redeeming sacrifice to pay for the debt of sinners. With His blood, shed on the cross, He purchased for us eternal redemption, forgiveness of sins and eternal life. He rose on the third day and was taken up to Heavens; He sat at the right hand of the Father where he is continuously interceding for the saints. (Mt. 1:18-25; John 1:1-18; Rom. 8:34; 1 Cor. 15:1-28; 2 Cor. 5:21; Gal. 3:10-14; Eph. 1:7; Philippians 2:6-11; Col. 1:15-23; Heb. 7:25, 9:13-15, 10:19; 1 Pet. 2:21-25; 1 John 2:1-2). We believe that salvation is possible only through grace and only through faith and only through Christ. To be saved, no rituals, works, traditions or any other acts on behalf of person are required. This saving grace of God, through the power of Holy Spirit, that also sanctifies us, making us able to do what is pleasing to God so that we could continuously grow and transform into the image of Christ. (John. 1:12-13, 6:27-44, 10:25-30; Acts 16:30-31; Rim. 3:1, 4:23, 8:1-17, 8:31-39, 10:8-10; Eph. 2:8-10; Philippians 2:12-13; Titus 3:3-7; 1John 1:7,9). We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ baptizes believers with Holy Spirit, with Whom we are sealed for the day of redemption. Holy Spirit quickens and comes to live forever in believers, providing them with everything necessary for life and godliness. After conversion, Spirit desires to fill, give strength and anointing to the believer for ministry and witness. We also believe that miracles and signs, as all the gifts of the Spirit, described in New Testament, are available today and are purposed for witnessing about the Kingdom of God and to be filled with power and strengthen the Church for fulfilling of her commission and mission. (Мt. 3:11; John 1:12–13, 3:1–15; Acts 4:29–30; Rom. 8:9, 12:3–8; 1 Cor. 12:12–13; 2 Cor. 1:21–22; Gal. 3:1–5; Eph. 1:13–14; 5:18.) We believe that the only true God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, who being one God are equal in divinity, power and glory. We believe that God not only created the world, He also even now holds, upholds, directs, and defines direction of everything that exists. We also believe that he will bring everything to required completion in Christ Jesus and to the glory of His name. (Ps. 104:1–35, 139:1–24; Mt. 10:29–31, 28:19; Acts 17:24–28; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 1:9–12, 4:4–6; Col. 1:16–17; Heb.1:1–3; Rev.1:4–6.) We believe that when Christians die, they immediately find themselves in the blessed presence of Christ, where they, in the full consciousness, enjoy the fellowship with their Savior until the day of Resurrection and the glorious transformation of their bodies. The saved then will remain eternally in the pleasant fellowship with their great, Three in One, God. We also believe that when unbelievers die, they are transferred to hell where they await the Judgment Day on which they will be condemned to punishment in the lake of fire- eternal, conscious, painful separation from God's presence. (Мt. 25:46; Luke 16:19–31; John 5:25–29; 1 Cor. 15:35–58; 2 Cor. 5:1–10; Phil. 1:19–26, 3:20–21; 2 Thess. 1:5–10; Rev. 20:11–15, We believe that water baptism and the Lord's communion are two precepts of Church that should be observed until Christ's return. They are not ways to salvation but rather channels of God's sanctifying grace and blessing for the faithful in Christ Jesus. (Мt. 26:26-29, 28:19; Rom. 6:3–11; 1 Cor. 11:23–34; 1 Pet. 3:21) We believe literally in the second coming of Christ at the end of times, when He will personally return to earth, in physical form, to establish His Kingdom. We believe that Church will come out of the Tribulation period victorious and powerful. We believe that the Church will be taken up at the end of the Tribulation. We also believe and pray for a great harvest of souls in the End Times and for manifestation of victorious Church that will demonstrate unprecedented levels of unity, purity and power of Spirit. (Ps. 2:7–9,22:27–28; John 14:12, 17:20–26; Rom. 11:25–32; 1 Cor. 15:20–28, 50–58; Eph. 4:11–16; Phil. 3:20–21; 1 Thes. 4:13–5:11; 2 Thes. 1:3–12; Rev. 7:9–14.) We believe that Adam originally was created in the image of God, righteous and sinless. As result of his disobedience, Adam's descendants are born with imputed and inherited sin. As such, all people, due of their nature and their choice, are considered to be the children of wrath, justly condemned before the face of God. They absolutely have no ability to save themselves or in some way earn God's acceptance. (Gen. 1:1-3:22; Ps. 50:5; Is. 53:5; Rom. 3:9-18, 5:12-21; Eph. 2:1-3.) We believe that the Church is the main instrument of God with which He accomplishes His redeeming work on Earth. To equip the saints for work in ministry, God gave the Church apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. We also establish the priesthood of all believers and that every Christian has to be connected and actively involved in a local community of saints. We believe that women are not inferior to men and that they have calling and gifts to proclaim the good news and work all aspects of Kingdom. (Mt. 16:17-19; Acts 2:17-18, 42; Eph. 3:14-21, 4:11-16; 1Tim. 2:11-15; Heb. 10:23-25; 1 Pet. 2:4-5, 9-10.) We believe that God commissioned the Church to preach Good News to all peoples; to specifically remember the poor and minister to their needs with material support and practical assistance. Such service reflects the heart of our Lord Jesus Christ and represents an important part of God's Kingdom. (Mk. 16:15; Mt. 22:39; James 1:27.) We believe that Satan, originally great and good angel Lucifer, rebelled against God and attracted many angels to his side. He was casted out of God's presence. Satan, together with his demonic army, labors to create his alternative kingdom of darkness, evil, and chaos on Earth. He was judged and was defeated at the Cross and will be casted in the lake of fire, which was prepared for him and his angels, for the eternity. (Is. 14:10-17; Ezek. 28:11-19; Mt. 12:25-29; 25:41; John 12:31, 16:11; Eph. 6:10-20; Col. 2:15; 2Pet. 2:4; Jude 6; Rev. 12:7-9, 20:10). |
